Register of obstacles

Every point where law, money or structure stands in the way of the undertaking — kept as an open item, not hidden in a footnote. Entries are added, never deleted and never rewritten; each carries its date of entry.

Capital architecture per phase. The cost envelope for HOME 001 has not been quantified. Funding sources have not been assigned to the phases — lead-up, land, construction, operation.

Land and planning law. Admissibility under planning law is unresolved (secs. 30/34/35 of the German Building Code; an amendment of the land-use plan and a development plan may be required). The land is not secured. The land-tenure instrument has not been chosen.

Entry, exit, contributed value. Entry, exit and the treatment of contributed value are unregulated. Without an exit procedure written in advance, the result is either ties without a way out, or conflict.

Entity for IP, standard and HOME OS. The entity to hold the intellectual property, the standard and the HOME OS has not been determined. None of the three existing entities fits.

Legal conflicts unexamined. Conflicts with existing law are unexamined: compulsory schooling, the state's monopoly on force, the restriction of medical practice to licensed practitioners.

Food supply: the outer land is a condition, not a reserve. A fully occupied HOME (300) has 575 m² of arable land per head and cannot feed itself within its own boundary. The roughly 76 ha of outer land per HOME is a condition, not a reserve. Arable land = total area minus courtyard buildings, inner courts, the Six, the Twelve, the Three, the threshold, the source, and the paths.

Charitable-status viability of E.W.I.G.. Whether the activities and target groups intended for E.W.I.G. gGmbH qualify for charitable status is unexamined (secs. 51–53 of the German Fiscal Code). Charitable housing purposes under sec. 52 (2) no. 27 are applicable in principle; the income requirements must be examined per household, not assumed across the board. The concept explicitly allows residents entrepreneurship and asset building.

Size and composition of the founding group. The size and composition of the founding group have not been determined. What is required is a list of the functions a settlement must staff on the day of its founding. The number follows from that calculation, not from a decree.

Permanent guest status. Permanent guest status is unregulated. Full provision without a voice is viable as a transition, not as a permanent condition for a sizeable group. Historical parallel: the lay brothers (conversi) of the Cistercian order. Transition periods and paths into full participation must be determined.

Waiting list. The waiting list is unregulated. With a hard limit of 300, an admission procedure necessarily arises. Order, criteria, handling of family reunification and succession after departure must be determined. Without a written procedure, allocation follows proximity to leadership.

Occupancy limit of 300 without an underlying figure. The occupancy limit of 300 is a stipulation. No figure it follows from — living space per head, household sizes, the fittings of a courtyard — is recorded anywhere. The occupancy of 12.5 per courtyard exists in no file; what is stored is 12 and 13, and the regression test checks whether 24 × their mean meets the limit, not the other way round. R-15 in the HOME register shows the direction: 12 per courtyard gave 288, and the range was raised to 12–13 so the sum would come out. What carries the number is the reasoning on sheet 4 — large enough for varied skills, small enough for visible responsibility — and not a calculation. Historically the limit grew out of the design size: a833cff (14.08.2026) read “design size 150 people · saturation 300 · then division into 2 × 150”. The derivation from the geometry was added five days later. Before that the figures were 125 per cube and 3,000 in total.

Side length 222 presented as a derivation, in fact a stipulation. Sheet 1 presents the octagon side of 222.0 m as derived from the courtyard and expressly discards an earlier derivation in its favour. The control sum of both versions refutes the direction: version E calculated 3 × 62 + 2 × 8 + 2 × 10 = 222, version E.1 calculates 3 × 54 + 2 × 8 + 2 × 22 = 222. The frontage fell by 8, the corner clearance rose by 12, the sum stayed. The figure 222 has been fixed since a833cff (14.08.2026); frontage and corner clearance were traded against each other to hold it. The equation is correct — it works out because it was made to work out. The same pattern as 24 × 12.5 = 300 (H-12). Where the 222 comes from is therefore open.
